LeBron James is reportedly in the final stages of a contract extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers, ESPN reported.
The report was first reported by Bleacher Report’s Brian Windhorst.
The Lakers are the teams highest-ranked suitor, according to ESPN.
The ESPN report comes after James agreed to a $25 million deal with the Cavs last summer.
James and his agents have been negotiating since July, when the Cavs agreed to terms with the former All-Star.
The deal includes $23 million in guaranteed money, plus another $10 million in dead money and a first-round pick.
